We've changed our name - not our services

Belconnen Community Service (BCS) has officially changed its name to Capital Region Community Services (CRCS).

This way, more people can access our services, forge greater connections, and build stronger and more inclusive communities - from Belconnen to the Capital Region.

This is how it happened.

What we do

Childcare

Capital Region Community Services has been providing childcare in Canberra for over 40 years. We offer high quality education and care for children from birth to year six. CRCS has four early childhood centres, and three school aged care services offering various options for before and after school care. We also provide a free youth school holiday program for 12-25 year olds, that runs out of the Belconnen Youth Centre.

Disability Services and the NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative to provide a person centred support system that gives people with disability choice and control over the services and supports they need. The NDIS focuses on removing many barriers that are faced by people living with disability and their families and carers. CRCS is a registered NDIS service provider, and works to support positive inclusion for all people in our community. CRCS is committed to providing the highest quality of service and flexibility to meet individual needs.
