All participants, carers and other stakeholders have a right to use an independent advocate in their dealings with BCS. Participants accessing services may nominate an advocate to interact with us and/or make decisions on their behalf. We can also support you to access advocacy services and in some circumstances, BCS may advocate on your behalf if you have asked us to and if it is appropriate.
An advocate can be a relative or friend, an employee or an independent advocate from an advocacy service or other organisation.
