The Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) Board recently welcomed Mrs Mandy Green as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer to BCS.
“Mandy has served in the Acting Chief Executive Officer role for several months, having been with BCS for over a decade, managing People & Culture. Throughout this time Mandy has built an extensive body of knowledge around BCS and the community sector and helped drive the organisation forward through some challenging times – building positive stakeholder relationships along the way.
The Board and Recruitment Panel worked closely with HorizonOne to undertake a rigorous search for a new CEO after the role became vacant in July last year. The Panel, led by the BCS Chair and Vice-Chair, were very impressed with the standard of candidates shortlisted for the role, and the process was a highly competitive one.
The role of Chief Executive Officer is integral to driving and supporting BCS through a period of transformational growth, responding to the changing needs of the sector to ensure that BCS continues to deliver high-quality services to all its participants. Mandy was found to be more than aptly suited to rise to these challenges.
The Board warmly welcomes Mandy to the role and looks forward to collaborating with a range of stakeholders to shape a bright future for the organisation.”
