Capital Region Community Services offers a range of long day care options in our four Early Childhood Centres including full, part-time and occasional care for children from six weeks until school age. Each centre is fully accredited and the Child Care Subsidy is available to eligible families.
Our Early Education and Care Centres are all well established and community-based. Each centre has 45 places. Their relatively small numbers make it easy for the families and educators to be close-knit communities. The atmosphere in our centres is warm and friendly, with plenty of home-made toys that reflect the many cultures of our children and educators.
Our centres are ideally suited to families who want to get to know the educators that care for their children. Whether the care is full-time, part-time or occasional CRCS values open communication and strong relationships with families. Our families appreciate the benefits of smaller, community-based centres. Children’s individual preferences and needs are recognised by educators who know them well. The trust that families place in our educators and managers is well-earned.
All meals are provided at Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre, Bruce Early Childhood Centre and Bruce Ridge Early Childhood Centre. Morning and afternoon teas are provided at Belconnen Early Childhood Centre.
All Centres provide nappies and a weekly music program which are included in fees.
Occasional Care is offered at all four of our Early Childhood Centres. Prior registration is essential. Our minimum care time is only one hour. At $20 per hour, this is a flexible and affordable option for parents who need a few hours to catch up on shopping, errands, medical appointments, social connections or any unexpected commitments. In the safe and stimulating environments of our Early Childhood Centres, your child will enjoy making new social connections too.
CRCS is an approved child care provider. If you are eligible for the CCS this may reduce the cost of your out of pocket expense significantly. Assessment for CCS is available by application to the Department of Human Services online or by phoning 13 6150. For more information visit www.education.gov.au/ChildCarePackage.
