Day to Day Living (D2DL) is a service that offers support to people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. The Day to Day living program is based in Tuggeranong but some activities take place across the ACT. The D2DL team creates a welcoming environment for participants to improve their daily living skills while engaging in social, recreational and educational activities. Our team will also work collaboratively to:

  • Recognise each person’s current capabilities
  • Work collaboratively to create an individual support plan
  • Recognise achievements and adjust goals on a regular basis

The Day to Day Living team creates a welcoming and supportive environment. Participants improve their daily living skills, self esteem and wellbeing, while engaging in social, recreational and educational activities.

The Day to Day Living program facilitates a range of health and wellbeing activities throughout the week. These include yoga and meditation, badminton, swimming, and walking and cycling groups. Tennis, bowling, pool, and billards sessions are also on offer.

The program also offers healthy lunches and  nutritious cooking classes. A variety of regular social groups provide opportunities for conversation and connection over activities such as board games or coffee. Creative activities, such as art, writing, philosophy, and literature discussion, are also offered each week. You can download an up-to-date timetable at the bottom of this page.
