In partnerships with schools, both the CRCS Youth Engagement team and the Bungee Youth Resilience Program provide in-school activities designed to enhance well-being and social and emotional health.
Bungee tailors programs to individual skill level and interest in small supportive group settings. In-school programs are available to all schools in the ACT.
The CRCS Youth Services team fosters close relationships with local public schools and colleges to support the needs of young people through collaborative in-school and after school programs.
Working with schools, we hope to create inclusive and connected communities that encourage youth voice, leadership opportunities and positive social interactions for young people across the Belconnen region.
To find out more about how the Youth Team can support your school, visit the Belconnen Youth Centre, call 6264 0200, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or search Belconnen Youth Centre on Facebook and Instagram.
Belconnen Youth Centre has previously worked with schools to co-facilitate the setup and running of lunchtime groups including art, sport, LGBTQI+ support groups and student leadership groups. We have also supported transition groups for students going from Year 6 into Year 7 and are always happy to be part of whole school days and celebrations.
Term-based programs the Belconnen Youth Centre can support include in-school young women’s leadership groups, and The Belco Links Program.
Belco Links is an arts-based program providing support for young people managing anxiety and mental health concerns. This program is run in partnership with the ACT Education Directorate and Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s Messengers Program.
The Youth Centre has also been involved in after-school programs including after school sports.
In-school program enrolments are arranged by the partner school. If you would like to organise an in-school program for your school, contact the youth services team on the details below.
