Belconnen Early Childhood Centre (BECC) is a 45 place centre full of opportunities! Opportunities to explore, experiment, meet new friends, all whilst learning through play.
We are uniquely located in the Westfield mall where we bring nature and the outdoors in.
Our curriculum supports and encourages children in the development of identity, emotional and physical wellbeing, communication, cognitive skills, sustainability, cultural awareness including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. All whilst they grow into an active member of the community around us.
Here at BECC the children can be emerged in learning whilst having an enjoyable day.

Meet The Director
Ruth
Hi, my name is Ruth and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Director of Belconnen Early Childhood Centre.
A little bit about me: I have over 10 years experience working in the Early Years Education Sector, with half of those years directing Centres in Sydney and Canberra with my last tenure being the Service Manager of a 142 place Centre.
I’m passionate about child-led education with a focus on empowering children to be decision-makers, problem solvers and confident in their own sense of identity.
One of my favourite quotes is “The true strength in our classroom lies in the collaboration or learners, not in the knowledge of one expert.”
I am excited to see you at our Centre soon!
